About Hesar Manawi

Hesar Manawi is an Afghananistani-Canadian legal expert, researcher, and academic, born in 1990 in Parwan Province, Afghanistan. He completed his early education at Esteqlal High School in Kabul and later pursued higher education in Law, obtaining a Master’s degree in Legal Studies. He is a certified legal specialist with a strong background in criminal justice, prosecution, and legal research.

He has authored five scientific research papers in the fields of judiciary and prosecution, contributing to academic and practical understanding of legal systems. He is a member of the Canadian legal community and actively engaged in legal development and institutional capacity building.

Throughout his professional career, he has served as a prosecutor, head of a legal firm, university lecturer, and legal advisor, gaining extensive experience in both public and private legal sectors.

Currently, he serves as the President of the Canadian North Academy and the President of the Guardians of the North Movement, where he leads academic, legal, and organizational development initiatives focused on education, justice, and civic engagement.
